VMM-166 Party Moose Squadron Patch

VMM-166 Party Moose Squadron Patch — Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 166 Embroidered Patch

Party Moose is loose — the wildest mascot in Marine tiltrotor aviation.

Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 166 (VMM-166), the "Sea Elk," is famous throughout the Marine Corps for its irreverent squadron culture and creative morale art. The "Party Moose" is one of the most beloved alternate mascot designs in all of military aviation — a wild, celebration-themed take on the Sea Elk identity that captures the squadron's legendary esprit de corps and off-duty swagger. In the tradition of military aviation morale patches, the Party Moose represents the lighter side of a squadron that works hard, flies harder, and knows how to celebrate after a successful mission.

VMM-166 flies the MV-22B Osprey, providing assault support transport for Marine ground forces with unmatched speed, range, and versatility. Behind the Party Moose humor lies a deeply professional combat aviation unit that has deployed across the Pacific and beyond, supporting Marine Expeditionary Units, bilateral exercises, humanitarian operations, and real-world contingencies. The Party Moose patch is a collector's favorite and a proud piece of VMM-166 culture that every Sea Elk veteran recognizes instantly.

Perfect For: VMM-166 Party Moose fans, Sea Elk veterans and active-duty Marines, morale patch collectors, MV-22 Osprey enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates the creative, fun-loving side of Marine Corps squadron culture.

The Moose is loose — Party Moose approves this patch.
