VMGR-452/2nd Raider Memorial Patch & Sticker Patch

VMGR-452/2nd Raider Memorial Patch & Sticker Patch — VMGR-452 Yanky 72 Memorial Embroidered Patch

Yanky 72 — honoring the fallen Raiders and Yankees.

This memorial patch honors a profound connection between Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 452 (VMGR-452), the "Yankees," and the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion. The "Yanky 72" designation carries deep significance within the Marine Corps community, memorializing those lost in service between these two storied units. Memorial patches are among the most meaningful items in military aviation, created not for decoration but as a permanent tribute to fallen brothers and sisters who gave everything in service to their country and the Corps.

VMGR-452 flies the KC-130 Hercules, providing aerial refueling and transport support, while the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion is part of Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC), conducting special operations missions worldwide. The intersection of these two units — transport aviation and special operations ground forces — reflects the reality that every Marine mission involves a chain of support, and losses in that chain are felt across the entire Marine Corps family. This patch and sticker combination ensures that the memory of those honored is carried forward by everyone who wears or displays it.

Perfect For: VMGR-452 Yankees veterans, 2nd Raider Battalion Marines, MARSOC community members, C-130 Hercules crew members, memorial patch collectors, and anyone who honors the fallen by keeping their memory alive.

Yanky 72 — never forgotten, forever honored.
