USMC Security Forces Bangor, WA (MCSFBN) Patch — Marine Corps Security Force Battalion Bangor Embroidered Patch

Guarding the nation's nuclear deterrent — Marines at Bangor.

Marine Corps Security Force Battalion Bangor (MCSFBN) is a United States Marine Corps security unit responsible for providing security at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor in Washington State — home to a significant portion of the Navy's Trident ballistic missile submarine fleet. MCSFBN Marines stand guard over some of America's most critical strategic assets, protecting the submarines, weapons facilities, and infrastructure that form the sea-based leg of the nation's nuclear triad.

The Marines of MCSFBN undergo specialized training in nuclear weapons security, anti-terrorism, force protection, and tactical response operations. Their mission demands constant vigilance, exceptional discipline, and the ability to respond immediately to any threat against the strategic assets under their protection. Stationed in the Pacific Northwest, these Marines operate in a high-security environment where the stakes could not be higher — the ballistic missile submarines they guard carry the ultimate deterrent that has helped prevent great-power conflict for decades. It is one of the most consequential and least publicized assignments in the Marine Corps.

Perfect For: MCSFBN veterans and active-duty Marines, Marine security force battalion personnel, nuclear security professionals, submarine base veterans, and military patch collectors who respect the Marines who guard America's most powerful weapons.

On guard at Bangor — MCSFBN protects the nation's ultimate deterrent.
