Official HMLA-773 Dread Dog Halloween Patch — Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773 Embroidered Patch

Dread Dog unleashed for Halloween — Reserve attack helicopter terror.

Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773 (HMLA-773), known as the "Red Dogs" and operating under the "Fit Via Vi" (Strength Through Force) motto, is a United States Marine Corps Reserve light attack helicopter squadron. This "Dread Dog" Halloween variant transforms the squadron's mascot into a terrifying seasonal creation, blending the unit's aggressive attack helicopter identity with the spooky spirit of October. Halloween morale patches are a beloved tradition in military aviation, and HMLA-773's Dread Dog design is a standout collector's piece.

HMLA-773 operates the AH-1 and UH-1 helicopter platforms, providing close air support, armed escort, and utility transport capabilities as a Reserve unit that maintains active-duty combat readiness standards. Reserve light attack helicopter squadrons play a vital role in the Marine Corps' Total Force structure, providing surge capacity and combat-capable crews who can be activated and integrated with active-duty formations on short notice. The Dread Dog Halloween patch celebrates the squadron's personality and esprit de corps while honoring the warrior spirit that makes HMLA-773 one of the most respected Reserve aviation units in the Corps.

Perfect For: HMLA-773 Red Dog veterans and Reserve Marines, Marine attack helicopter enthusiasts, Halloween morale patch collectors, Reserve aviation supporters, and anyone who loves the creative intersection of military aviation and holiday spirit.
